Tony's Cabbage
Casserole
1 med head cabbage
1 lb. lean ground meat
1/4 cup chopped onions
2 cloves minced garlic
1 can cream of mushroom soup
2 c cooked rice
1/4 cup c bread crumbs
2 Tblsp margarine
11/2 tsp. Tony Chacheres Creole seasoning
Chop cabbage head. Boil in salted water just about 1 inch over cabbage.
Cook until tender. Drain and save liquid. Melt margarine in skillet.
Add meat, onion, garlic, and seasoning. Cook until meat is done. Mix
cabbage, meat mixture, soup, rice and reserved liquid. Pour into 9x13
baking disk. Top with bread crumbs. Bake 20-30 minutes at 300°.
